Think You Might Have Sleep Apnoea?
A Home Sleep Study will help to investigate if you have a sleep disorder such as Obstructive Sleep Apnoea (OSA).

At Pharmacy 777, We Know Sleep
Do you often feel tired during the day? Do you snore loudly? Perhaps someone has noticed you stop breathing during your sleep?
How Do I Get A Home Sleep Study?
Your 777 Pharmacist can help you decide whether a Home Sleep Study suits you.
To find out if it is right for you, book a free 15-minute sleep health consultation.
Please note that if a Home Sleep Study is deemed appropriate at this consultation your Pharmacist will schedule in a separate appointment with you.
Please talk to your 777 Pharmacist if you have any questions.
What to Expect
Our Home Sleep Studies are available for adults aged 18 and over and are conducted in the comfort and privacy of your own home.
During the study, you’ll use a small, portable monitor that records your breathing, oxygen levels, and other sleep patterns overnight. This device is easy to use and comes with clear instructions from your pharmacist.
After the study, A Sleep Specialist will review your results and provide a diagnosis. Your Pharmacist will then share the report with you and discuss the next steps, which may include treatment options such as CPAP trial or referral to another health professional.
The cost of a Home Sleep Study can vary depending on your circumstances. For accurate pricing, please speak to your local Pharmacy 777 Pharmacist
Frequently Asked Questions
Being overweight is one of the most common causes of Obstructive Sleep Apnoea (OSA) because excess fatty tissue can narrow the throat due to excess fatty tissue.
Some people are born with a narrow airway or have facial structure which leads to narrowing.
Other factors include alcohol consumption (especially in the evening as this relaxes the throat muscles and effects breathing), certain illnesses, large tonsils, medications (such as sleeping tablets and sedatives), as well as nasal congestion or obstruction.
For people with a mild Obstructive Sleep Apnoea (OSA), lifestyle changes such as losing weight, reducing alcohol intake in the evening, or adjusting your sleeping position may help.
For those with moderate or severe OSA, more active treatment is often required. One of the most common treatments is Continuous Positive Airway Pressure (CPAP) therapy, which keeps your airway open while you sleep.
Obstructive Sleep Apnoea (OSA) is diagnosed through a Sleep Study.
