Awards trio for Pharmacy 777 Carnarvon
November marks the end of an incredible year for Pharmacy 777 Carnarvon with the small business winning three awards for their outstanding efforts serving patients in the local community.
The Western Australian Regional Small Business Awards brought the most recent accolade. In a ceremony at the Hyatt Regency on Friday night, Pharmacy 777 Carnarvon won the 2016 Community Engagement Award. Sponsored by Brookfield Rail and developed in order to acknowledge the State’s most outstanding regional small businesses, the award is an outstanding achievement for the team of five.
Benjamin Teo and Alicia Goh attended the ceremony to accept the award on behalf of the Pharmacy. Speaking about the win, Alicia said their goal was to ‘close the gap’ between rural and metro Pharmacies. By asking their local community what they wanted, and then delivering on those needs, the Pharmacy has raised service levels for local residents, with great results.
Pharmacy 777 Carnarvon also had reason to celebrate in September, at the WA Chamber of Commerce Gascoyne Regional Business Awards. The event recognised businesses and business owners for their professionalism, innovation and dedication to customer service as well as their economic contribution in the Gascoyne region. 777 Carnarvon were dual winners at the gala presentation evening, receiving both the ‘Health & Community Award’ and ‘Outstanding Achievement Award’ for this year.
Congratulation from members of the local community continue to flow in as word has spread about the awards success. Having been in town for just two years, the Pharmacy have been quick to make their mark. Considering their fantastic year, we wait eagerly for what 2017 brings.
