Pharmacy 777 Shoalwater is awarded Pharmacy Guild of Australia's National Pharmacy of the Year at the Australian Professional Pharmacy (APP) Conference. Pharmacy 777 Shoalwater is committed to serving its community of predominantly elderly patients and maturing families and was also awarded the Pharmacy of the Year for Excellence in Community Engagement.

60th Anniversary
Pharmacy 777 celebrate 60 years in the Industry and has grown to over 75 locations across WA and interstate.
Mr Michael Dillon honoured as a Member of the Order of Australia
Pharmacy 777's Founder and former Chair, Mr Michael Dillon was recognised in the 2020 Queen’s Birthday Honours List for “significant service to the pharmacy profession, and to the community” and appointed as Member of the Order of Australia (AM).
Michael's many achievements, included his win of the 2015 Pharmaceutical Society of WA (PSWA) Eric Kirk Memorial Award; being the founding president of the Nights Chemists Association who was involved in modernising pharmacy retail trading hours and his dedication from 1962 to 2016 as Pharmacist and Partner of the Pharmacy 777 Group.
“In this list we see all the positives that are in our community – we see the great ideas, we see the hard-work, we see the love and compassion for fellow human beings – it’s a microcosm of Australia,” said the Governor-General His Excellency General the Honourable David Hurley AC DSC (Retd).

The 777 family grows to 26 stores
The group has gone from strength to strength since the partnership of the four directors. 
Along the way there have been many partners join the Pharmacy 777 Team, continuing to show the passion and dedication Michael and Ken first established in 1962. There are now 26 pharmacies in the group across W.A. including 4 regional pharmacies in the Pilbara and South West.
Pharmacy 777 is a leader in the retail pharmacy area and was the first Pharmacy Group in Australia to be Quality Care Accredited. With an understanding of the principles and importance of accreditation, Pharmacy 777 prides itself on providing professional pharmacy services.
Pharmacy 777 are developing their business in an effort to achieve the goal of being the most recognised pharmacy group in Australia for their level of customer service.
Three new partners join 777
20 years after he first joined Pharmacy 777, Michael adds 3 new partners to the business: Greg MacKenzie (1985), David Speak (1989) and Kim Brotherson (1992). This team remain the directors of the Pharmacy 777 group today.

Michael Dillon becomes partner
In 1968 Ken Hurst took on Michael Dillon as a partner. During the next few years with Michael's drive and flair for retailing the pharmacy took over the shop next door, doubled then tripled in size. Both took on many active roles in the community culminating in Ken becoming the Mayor of the City of Melville until his tragic passing.
Pharmacy 777 Applecross Opens
Pharmacy 777’s original owner, Ken Hurst, a man with great drive and vision, opened the first store at 777 Canning Highway – the address that lends it’s name to today’s family of stores. His aim: to offer great services to the local residents, 7 days a week. Ken moved his family into the flat upstairs, and answered the door even outside opening hours.
