Pharmacy 777 supporting aged care from within

6/05/2024

Our Pharmacy 777 team is delighted to welcome Pharmacy 777 Bentley to the Group, our first pharmacy to be located within a retirement village.

Joining the 777 Group on 15th February 2024, Pharmacy 777 Bentley is owned and managed by a mother and son team, Elisabeth and Rainer Weber, as well as Lin Lee who all have extensive experience working in aged care focussed pharmacies.

Although they have a new name, previously Acacia Pharmacy Bentley, the team remain the same and will continue their great work with a focus on providing medication management and vaccinations to the vibrant and well-loved Juniper Rowethorpe Retirement community.

Rainer Weber is highly motivated to continue their work aligning with the 777 values, “Our experience in aged care has highlighted the importance of a patient centred approach to healthcare and we look forward to continue this approach through the Pharmacy 777 model, improving health outcomes for our community”.

“We look forward to expanding our scope of practice, utilising the Pharmacy 777 Group’s resources to support us so that we can continue providing accessible health services to our community.”

Pharmacy 777 Managing Director Kim Brotherson is pleased to welcome them to the Pharmacy 777 Group, “As a group we firmly believe in offering personalised health services and advice to each patient who steps into the pharmacy. We continue to be energised by new owners with aligning values, like Pharmacy 777 Bentley have.”

The medical centre within the retirement village that Pharmacy 777 Bentley operates recently closed, inspiring them to expand the range of services they offered. Rainer shared, “The feedback from the local community has been very positive and through our assistance with vaccinations, wound care and other services we have been able to attempt to fill a gap for some of the most vulnerable residents who can have difficulty accessing health services.”

Elisabeth, Rainer and Lin look forward to continuing to expand their health service offering. With the support of the Pharmacy 777 Group, the Pharmacy 777 Bentley team are ready to continue “to provide improved positive health outcomes for the local community, which is at the core of how the 777 Group operates.”
