Pharmacy 777 celebrated its own superstars last Friday at Crown Towers, hosting their annual Momentum conference.

Pharmacy 777 celebrated its own superstars last Friday at Crown Towers, hosting their annual Momentum conference.

The yearly conference brings together all Pharmacy 777 owners, managers, staff, suppliers and stakeholders to celebrate the year that was, while looking ahead at strategy and innovation.

And for the first time ever this year the conference featured  the ‘777 Trailblazer Awards’ – a series of awards that acknowledge inspiring health leaders in the Pharmacy 777 Group.

“These awards are quite special to the Pharmacy 777 Group because they’re peer nominated,” Pharmacy 777 CEO Jason Brotherson said.

“The finalists are people who go above and beyond in the group and we’re keen to celebrate them as shining stars. These are high calibre people who exemplify the Pharmacy 777 brand values ‘Professional, Caring, Exceptional Service and Growth’– they are committed to our patients, our business and an integral part of the team.”

2024 Pharmacist of the Year Award

Lisa Feliana of Pharmacy 777 Mt Hawthorn.
Since joining the Mt Hawthorn team in 2021, Lisa has proven herself to be the backbone of the pharmacy. In every way, she embodies the qualities of a skilled, compassionate, and solutions-oriented pharmacist.

Lisa is a “jack of all trades,” effortlessly moving from one primary care consultation to another, ensuring patients receive exceptional care. Her attention to detail and willingness to seamlessly manage handovers mean that no patient ever feels overlooked. Beyond her role in patient care, it’s her quick-thinking problem-solving skills that make her indispensable to daily operations. Whether it’s fixing IT issues, implementing the new DAA cloud program, or troubleshooting updates to the sleep apnoea service, Lisa approaches each task with precision and purpose.

Her commitment to her patients is equally exceptional. In fact, a patient from her previous pharmacy was so impressed by Lisa’s dedication that they insisted on continuing their DAA service with her, even though they’re not local. And with her fluency in Bahasa Indonesian, she’s also become a trusted and beloved pharmacist for our Indonesian-speaking patients.

Lisa doesn’t just see challenges; she sees opportunities to make things better. When she recognised the need for better team coordination, she pioneered a Microsoft To-Do List system that has been instrumental in keeping the team organised and on track. When training new support staff, she created a comprehensive instruction manual—an invaluable resource for the team, especially in the fast-paced, dynamic environment that is Pharmacy.

Described as a quiet achiever – Lisa sets the bar high. She leads by example, gives constructive feedback to foster improvement, and “inspects what she expects” to keep her team and pharmacy standards elevated.

Lisa is exceptional but humble, always reflecting on areas for personal growth. Her passion for psychology and self-development has made her a thoughtful mentor, sparking meaningful discussions on how to foster impactful connections with both our team and our patients.

She is not only a talented pharmacist but also a supportive leader who uplifts her team, inspiring them to all to be better and make a difference.

2024 Intern Pharmacist – Future of Pharmacy Award

Rachel Lawson of Pharmacy 777 Applecross.
For Rachel, patient care isn’t just part of the job—it’s her bread and butter. Every day at Pharmacy 777 Applecross, she demonstrates professionalism, compassion, and a true commitment to exceptional service. She never backs away from a challenge or leaves a problem unsolved. Rachel always puts her patients first, showing up each day ready to make a difference.

Her collaborative pharmacy service initiatives in partnership with WA’s organisations has truly enhanced patient-centred care offer, making a positive impact on the lives of those we serve.

With her background in public health, Rachel forged a collaboration with Hepatitis WA to bring spot blood testing into pharmacy practice, offering patients not only practical support but also deep empathy and guidance.

Her background in Health Promotion and her passion for integrating harm reduction services make her a true trailblazer in redefining what pharmacy care can accomplish. She takes the time to inform patients about referral pathways if needed, as well as preventative measures.

Her commitment to harm reduction doesn’t stop there. She’s a strong advocate for the Take-Home Naloxone program, ensuring that her team, and even social work students from the University of Western Australia, receive the training they need to confidently provide this life-saving resource. Through her partnerships with Peer Based Harm Reduction WA and the Mental Health Commission of WA, Rachel has empowered many with the knowledge and confidence to make a difference.

Alongside all of these remarkable contributions, Rachel remains fully engaged in delivering everyday professional services, from sleep apnoea consults to COPD support programs. She even recently delivered a presentation to over 100 City of Melville residents on the importance of sleep—another example of her commitment to community health and education.

Her passion, her proactive nature, and her dedication to learning and evolving within her role make her a shining example of what pharmacy can achieve for public health. It’s clear she will continue to be a trailblazer, leading our field into new areas of care and community impact.

2024 Support Team Member of the Year Award

Rebecca McNeil, Retail Manager of Pharmacy 777 Willagee
Bec’s commitment to community health at Willagee has made a lasting impact, not just within her pharmacy’s walls but in the broader community as well. She has been instrumental in organising health engagement lectures at the local community centre and the nearby independent living village. These events have provided valuable health information to the community, strengthening the pharmacy’s role as a trusted health resource.

In the dispensary, Bec has led initiatives that have transformed the pharmacy’s workflow. She optimised the robotic dispensing system, maximising its efficiency to improve service for both patients and staff. Her work to streamline the blister packing process was key in the recent decision to acquire an Alpaca device, a step that will allow growth of this essential service and better meet patient needs.

Bec’s dedication to staff development is equally impressive. Overseeing her team’s continuing education program and driving the implementation of the 777 Health Calendar, Bec ensures that everyone completes their education modules—no excuses! Her enthusiasm for learning has created a culture of growth and excellence that benefits our entire team.

Someone who truly understands how to support Pharmacists at the front!  Her leadership and dedication make her a truly deserving winner for this year’s Support Team Member award.

Congratulations to all our winners. All three Trailblazers clearly display Pharmacy 777 values – Professional, Caring, Exceptional Service and Growth – in everything they do.

That’s a wrap for Momentum 2024, what a truly action packed, yet energising and inspiring day it was.
