We are proud to announce that Pharmacy Help Karratha (part of the Pharmacy 777 Group), has been named a finalist in the prestigious Pharmacy Guild of Australia’s 2025 Guild Pharmacy of the Year awards.
The pharmacy is owned and run by Pharmacists Laura Stewart and Ben Teo and is being celebrated for its commitment to community in the Pilbara.
“We’re delighted and humbled to have been named a finalist in this award,” Laura said.
“This is recognition of the hard work and dedication of our entire team and the valuable contribution our pharmacists make to primary care in our local community."
“We believe people living in rural areas such as the Pilbara deserve the same access to high quality healthcare as those in metro areas and we work hard to bring that to the regions every day.”
Laura and Ben are passionate about supporting the Indigenous community, creating the Pharmacy Outreach Service to provide pharmacy services to remote communities in the Pilbara.
The team have mentored over 150 pharmacy students to providing pathways to work in regional areas, supporting them and highlighting the benefits of working in rural health.
Pharmacy Help Karratha work closely with the FIFO workforce in the Pilbara region to make sure they have support to manage health conditions away from home, opening extended hours to suit.
Managing Director of Pharmacy 777 Kim Brotherson said the pharmacy was leading the way in the regions, “We are incredibly proud of our Karratha team,” Kim said.
“The team has shown an unwavering commitment to the health and wellbeing of every patient who walks through their doors. Laura and Ben consistently go above and beyond… this is a very well-deserved nomination.

Category winners as well as the overall winner for 2025 will be announced at the opening of APP Conference on Thursday 20th March.
